Honda Civic Gains Hybrid Trims, New Styling, and Improved Tech for 2025

The 2025 Honda Civic has undergone a mid-cycle refresh, adding new style and updated technology. You also have new hybrid trims to choose from with this model. You can learn more about the details at Premier Honda, proudly serving customers in Hammond, Kenner, and Mandeville.
A New Look for a Classic
As part of the 11th generation, the 2025 Honda Civic offers more style and power to appeal to today’s drivers. You’ll get four trims to choose from, including the LX, Sport, Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid. The LX is available only as a sedan.
Civic is the longest-running model for Honda and has become one of the top three best-selling passenger cars in the last 51 years in America. This refresh attempts to continue the dominance of the Civic with a new hybrid electric powertrain that offers up to 200 horsepower combined and 232 lb.-ft of torque. The hybrid trims feature two powerful motors with four levels of regenerative braking during deceleration to give you more control. Active Noise Control has been included on all hybrid models. The Sport Touring Hybrid model also introduces the new Individual mode to allow for customization in your driving preferences.
Design Updates
Part of the refresh for the 2025 Honda Civic is a new front fascia and grille. The new taillights are darker, creating a sharper profile. Hybrid trims now have a distinct headlamp garnish and front lower spoiler in the body color. The Sport Touring Hybrid includes a new machine-finished wheel that is exclusive to this trim.
Color choices have also been updated with four new shades:
- Urban Gray Pearl
- Solar Silver Metallic
- Blue Lagoon Pearl
- Sand Dune Pearl
All hybrid cabins feature a gray interior with the Sport Hybrid including heated front seats, dual zone climate controls, and a moonroof. If you choose the Sport Touring Hybrid, you can upgrade to leather seats, 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, and nine-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
New Technology
The top trim of the 2025 Honda Civic, the Sport Touring Hybrid, includes Google built-in integrated into the system. You get help from Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play.
Advanced safety features are standard on the Honda Civic, such as the Honda Sensing suite. This set includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and more. The Sport models come with Blind Spot with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The Honda Civic is developed at the plants in Ontario, Canada and Greensburg, Indiana. Since it’s inception, the Civic has sold more than five million units in the United States. The refresh promises to continue that tradition, introducing the Civic to a new set of buyers.
