Honda came out on top in a new report entitled “Best Cars for the Money” by U.S. News and World Report. For 2025, Honda had four models that fit into the category: Civic, Accord, Passport, and Odyssey. These four vehicles were determined to be the best vehicles for the money in their respective categories. Civic was selected for the compact car segment, Accord for the midsize car class, Passport won top honors in the two-row SUV class, while Odyssey outshone other automakers in the minivan segment. The quality is determined by the overall score a vehicle achieved in the U.S. News car rankings at the time of the awards. The rankings are updated monthly on the U.S. News website, where you can compare vehicles based on safety, reliability, and a consensus of industry experts’ opinions. The value of a vehicle is measured by a combination of its five-year total cost of ownership and average prices paid for the vehicle at the time that the awards are published.
